Its work ranges from the assessment of claims and the settlement of claims in the event of liability, to repair work, the settlement of claims on travel insurance policies and the coordination and implementation of actual repair. CED handles also large and/or complex claims and has specialist knowledge in the transport, construction, engineering and marine sectors. |

CED is the market leader in the Benelux in the field of vehicle claims management: cars, commercial (heavy) vehicles, plant vehicles, caravans, campers or classic cars. The claims handlers at CED handle hundreds of thousands of claims every year. Their work is based on personal inspection, but also increasingly via tele-assessment, where the damage is assessed on the basis of a photo file and a detailed repair specification. Tele-assesment lowers the lead time of a case and limits the loss-adjustment costs.

In practice, there is a high level of internal co-operation, with our services often being offered in partnership with each other. In this way, CED reconciles the interests of all of the parties involved in the claims process. Both insurers and clients with uninsured losses call on various services offered by the professionals from CED. These professionals are instructed and deployed with a high level of flexibility. CED specialises in fact analysis, establishing the truth, prevention advice and sensitive cases: whether a case involves fire, company liability, road traffic accidents, personal injury, fraud or theft. CED primarily offers its services to risk bearers. |
