EMN Expertise is an independent loss adjustment agency that handles large and high-profile claims and specialises in the higher property segment and in the specialist liability, construction/engineering and marine cargo sectors. EMN experts are solution-oriented in their approach and pride themselves on a customised service.

The specialists at EMN operate in a broad field, working on behalf of insurers, brokers, underwriting agents, companies and institutions. EMN’s specialist fields include construction, agriculture, the environment and chemicals, technology, mechanical engineering, equipment, machinery and goods, business interruption, marine cargo and (professional) liability. Other services
Where necessary, recovery can be sought or TPA Claims Management provided (agency handling, assessment and complete settlement of the claim). Possibilities also include preliminary structural inspections, vibration and height measurements and claims handling for captives.

Because of its close collaboration with its sister companies within CED, EMN is also able to handle instructions originating from other sub-areas of loss adjustment, such as automotive and related claims (www.ced-europe.com). Valuation and inspection, assessment and preliminary structural inspection activities are carried out in collaboration with the sister company HDS (www.hdsgroep.nl).

International EMN network

EMN Expertise is a partner in an international network of loss adjustment offices: VRS Adjusters (www.vrsadjusters.com).

More than 3,500 loss adjusters, technical experts and surveyors are part of this network, employed by 350 renowned loss adjustment offices in more than 70 different countries in all of the various continents. The participating organisations are all prominent companies in their home markets. Because of these international contacts, EMN Expertise is able to offer adjustment services throughout the world.


EMN Expertise is a member of the Nederlands Instituut Van Register Experts (Dutch institute of registered experts; NIVRE, www.nivre.nl). The majority of experienced experts at EMN Expertise are highly qualified, registered experts.
